A2A   PAGE THIRTY SIX. The End.

Fly by night, away from here
Change my life again
Fly by night, goodbye my dear
My ship isn’t coming and I just can’t pretend

Aboard the corvette, Charybdis

Good morning, Marsers. We’ve never missed a weekly update, but we have sorta gone from a Friday Night Videos time slot to a Thundarr the Barbarian morning airing. I guess it’s nice to wake up to a new page.

Also, I should tell you, the ‘End’ here doesn’t mean we’re quite done yet. There are two Epilogue pages. Featuring our last reader cameo, by the way. So don’t leave the proverbial theatre early.

I love the Death Star-esque explosion here. Though many of you will agree that it was the “Praxis” explosion before George Lucas reworked his masterpiece into mediocrity. I’ll save the ‘Star Wars’ versus ‘Star Trek’ discussion for another sol.

Vikki is gonna go thaw out some Marers. Should be a happy reunion. Vexx gets to see her father again too.

To “end” the book this week, I want to return once more to our Canadian prog rocker friends. Rush was finally inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year. Finally (we’re still waiting for our Eisner). They were great, but the highlight had to be Alex Lifeson’s acceptance speech. It gave the Hall of Fame all of the honor and weight it deserves.

‘Fly by Night’. I think this would make a good end credits tune.

Until next week, when I’ll be coming live from Gen Con. If you’re heading to Gen Con, shoot me an email.
