PAGE FIFTY SEVEN. Backstage…
Happy Friday, Earthers. We are proud to present another page from our tale of rock and revolution. This week finds our heroines backstage at the Independence Sol celebration. As newly elected President Jareth Isidis addresses his fellow Amazonians, Kessler presents the band with a pretty interesting proposition/opportunity.
This week is pretty dialogue-heavy, which after a pretty crazy action sequence, is actually kinda soothing. But, as always, Nic has filled these panels with some amazing details. I especially like the frenetic action as the backstage crew scrambles to keep the show going.
This weekend marks the anniversary of one of the greatest rock albums of all time: Nirvana’s Nevermind. I don’t know about you guys, but I personally can’t believe it’s been naffing 20 years! Produced by one of the best- Butch Vig. To commemorate the anniversary, I’m going with ‘Come As You Are.’ It kinda makes sense with what’s going on in the comic this week.
Until next week,
Dave

Hey, a musical selection I’m actually familiar with. Cool beans.
Well, I suspect the shizz will hit the fan in the next page or two. That will be fun.
“You’re about to play in front of a 17-city virtual crowd. Live. No pressure!” XD
“I don’t know if this is a buzz idea…”
Well, you’ll have to join the rebels, but it’ll be fun! ^^
Some how i knew this was going to happen you know i cant say i like Kessler all that much comes off like a used car salesmen
Oh, where’s the harm, Vikki? The bad guys already think you’re one of the rebels. Oh, you don’t know that yet…
I’ve been reading for a long time now, but I actually didn’t get to join from the beginning. I’ve just caught up to the current panel, and I’m riding the roller coaster to the end.
I’ve been reading all of the comments so far, and one of the things I wanted to say about the community here is how it seems that just about everyone has a lot of respect for everyone else’s musical tastes. That’s actually pretty sweet; if I can throw in my two cents, some of the Mars desert scenes were awesome paired to some of the spacier tracks by Daft Punk.
Gah, this is going to sound really nerdy, but I’ve always liked the atypical choice of typeface for a webcomic. Is it a form of Garamond or something similar?
Is the name Kessler a reference to Dessler (or Desslok or any other spelling of his name you’d like) from the Space Battleship Yamato series? He almost has the same look and feel of Dessler, but I mean, he doesn’t have blue skin.
Sam is my favorite by the way. Mohawks are naffing awesome.
when will todays new one be up?
